YOURGB was delighted to partner with Hello Scotland to creatively style and technically produce an iconic gala dinner for a North American Central Bank, at the incredible Balmoral Hotel. The experience was carefully created for a VIP group of around 150 guests, travelling to Edinburgh from across North America.

The private fine dining experience was designed to showcase a modern twist on Scottish elegance. To tie in with this and to add the WOW factor, our team also programmed a show stopping evening full of entertainment highlighting Scottish traditions and heritages.

YOURGB initially pitched three creative theming concepts with the final chosen theme for the dinner being Contemporary Indulgence: The Feast. The team led the dressing with beautiful, lush floral displays of dark greens, purples and reds, indulgent fruits, plenty of black and red candles and a forest and foliage backdrop dressing on the stage – all to create a moody, atmospheric and beautiful setting for the exclusive drinks reception and dinner.

For the entertainment, guests were welcomed by a modern take on a string quartet, who provided a hint of Bridgerton style music for guests during the drink reception. Dinner was then called by a traditional (and very loud!) group of Scottish Drummers. The evening was then dotted with Scottish traditions such as the Address to the Haggis, a world renowned piper, professional Highland Dancers and to close, an epic DJ was programmed to keep the night going – and the dance floor was full!
