YOURGB transformed two of Edinburgh’s most popular ‘rugby pubs’, into The Famous Grouse Clubhouse, with branding, activation and live rugby centric Q&A events.
The first activation took place at The Three Sisters. There, we were joined by Jim Hamilton as host, and four Lions Legends, Gavin Hastings, Matt Dawson, Shane Williams and Jamie Heaslip. Together, they hosted a live Q&A for 300 fans, and later took part in a private Whisky tasting and a private and exclusive dining experience.
The Murrayfield Hotel also donned our bespoke branded inflatable rugby posts, and again our flags were flown and the bunting was hung throughout the entire outdoor space and gardens, ready, set, match for game day. At The Murrayfield Hotel we created a live post game analysis with our Lion’s Legends and enjoyed another whisky masterclass.
YOURGB designed and delivered this Famous Grouse on-trade activation whilst maintaining and nurturing the on-trade relationships which are highly valued by the brand.
We worked creatively with The British & Irish Lions on content, messaging and logo and product placement, ensuring the brand had a strong presence across all sites and operated safely within our contractual sponsorship rights and benefits.
YOURGB are highly skilled in relationship building, which is key for our on-trade activations, they can work collaboratively with various partners and customers whilst always supporting what is right for the brand in every conversation. They nailed the brief on bringing The Famous Grouse to life again in bars! Their approach to working with brands is first class, often feeling like an extension of the team and we cannot wait to work with them our future activations.
