Following a £25 million pound renovation and takeover of one of Edinburgh’s iconic hotels – The Roxburghe Hotel – YOURGB was contracted to produce a launch party for the newly named “The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square.”
YOURGB supported the creative planning, coordination, management, production and design of this hotel re-launch event.
Spanning over 10 event spaces within the hotel, including the bars, conference spaces and premium suites; guests were invited to explore the hotel through the theme of a ‘secret garden of wonder’.
A host of performers and DJs including Viper Swing, Joshua James and Ray BLK entertained our guest list of over 1000 of Edinburgh’s great and good, as they explored the hotel.
Throughout their journey’s, guests encountered pop up drinks bars including an Aperol bar and a Tito’s Handmade Vodka room, bathtub bars, tuck boxes of Scottish treats, a photo-shoot room and dance floors. It was intended to re-define the stereotype of a hotel launch party and from feedback post-event this was confirmed by all guests.
Thanks for another amazing launch. The vibe and crowd last night felt like we were offering something truly unique and exciting to the local market. I was particularly impressed with how professionally it was all managed. The staff and event management were on point everywhere you went in the property.
