2022: Onwards and Upwards

We at YOURGB are feeling super grateful for where we are. And we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support from YOU! So, we just wanted to say a massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The past 12 months have been incredibly fun and fulfilling. And as it is nearing the end of the year (where has the time gone?), it’s time for us to say farewell to you all until we return to the YOURGB office for a fantastic 2023!

But before we think about all the amazing and exciting projects in the pipeline for next year, let us take a walk down memory lane and have quick look back at what got us here…

In total, YOURGB were fortunate enough to work with 25 amazing clients and businesses this year. Which has led us to manage, produce, and style a whopping 42 events in 2022! This includes live and online conferences, activations, private family celebrations and hybrid events, just to name a few. This is an incredible feat that could not have been executed without our dream team of creatives and strategists.

For those who have worked with us before or who have no idea who we are, we are a ‘business for good.’ This means for every event that we create; we pay it forward by allocating a proportion of our fee to charity. And this year, we are proud to announce that we have donated to 21 charities around the world, including the UK, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Malawi and Indonesia.

One of our proudest moments this year was becoming a company that is 100% carbon neutral. This year we have offset over 18 tonnes of carbon emissions. As a company, we understand that as individuals and citizens of this earth, we have a responsibility to our community, our planet, and future generations to do our best environmentally and economically. So, our goal for the future is to work with companies who share our same values, to create events that are also carbon-neutral!

In 2022, we have welcomed not 1, not 2 but 3 new babies to the team (Finty, Harrison and Aaron) and adopted 3 new fur babies to join the YOURGB family.

As we take our final glance back on the year that was, we asked the YOURGB team what their most important lesson was in 2022 and what their New Year’s resolution is to be for 2023.
