To great excitement, at the start of 2022 we were recognised by the Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards as ‘Highly Commended’ for Mid-Sized Business of the Year. We were absolutely honoured to be recognised for our dedication, passion, and ambition to plan and produce the best events throughout Scotland, the UK, and the world! Impressed? History in the Baking:
YOURGB is over the moon to announce that we are heading up the event planning and production for Ooni Pizza Ovens’ 10th Birthday Party.

Being the World’s No. 1 Pizza Oven Company, the event will surely be full of pizza-zzzz!
Our team were lucky enough to be invited to a meeting at Ooni HQ to meet the team, the dog Marty McFly (woof) and yes we got to make our very own Ooni Pizzas! (another yes because all client meetings should involve pizza!)
Party of the Century
Well, 120 years to be more exact! YOURGB are ecstatic to lead on the production for the 120th Anniversary of the iconic Balmoral Hotel (part of the Rocco Forte Hotels) taking place in October. We are looking forward to helping the 5-star luxury Edinburgh landmark celebrate with world recognised performers during this festive fete. We are so ready to grab our frocks, heels and dancing shoes. Guest- list and invites coming soon…
3 2 1 and we’re live with YOURGB at the Royal Highland Show
Last month, the YOURGB team was ecstatic to be back working at the heart of the Royal Highland Show for the 2nd year. Members of the YOURGB team produced a splendid 9 hours and 10 minutes of juicy and informative content for the official Facebook channels for the event across 4 days. Over 14 thousand Facebook viewers watched this streaming live and the content had a Facebook reach of over 300 thousand! Wowza!
Not only do we love working at this event every year, but we also find every year the Royal Highland Show shows us something new to bring to the table, whether that be animals, highland games style challenges or some good grub! Roll on 2023!
Supporting a cause close to our hearts
June was a busy month for YOURGB. We also partnered with CHAS –Children’s Hospices Across Scotland – to provide on-site management and support for their annual flagship fundraising event, The Rocking Horse Ball which took place on Friday 17th June.
300 guests were immersed in a Wizard of Oz themed evening; full of fun, music, entertainment and magic (really, there was a real magician!). Over £100 000 was raised during the event – an amazing amount which will benefit many children and families within the CHAS community.
Shout out to Hollie, Tom and Olivia of the YOURGB team supported the CHAS team to ensure the best possible guest experience during the event, as well as providing efficient pre- and post-event logistical assistance.

Famous Grouse and Ginger anyone?
The Cateran YOMP (a military term for a long-distance march) 2022 was held across the 4th-5th June in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland. The event is organised by The Soldiers Charity, but YOURGB were on hand to support The Famous Grouse on their sponsorship of the Bronze Checkpoint – the 22 mile mark.
YOURGB created an experience that brought The Famous Grouse brand to life whilst enhancing the already buzzing atmosphere of the bronze checkpoint.
Throughout the day participants and supporters were offered samples of Grouse and Ginger and a sugar hit of The Famous Grouse toffees; a chill out zone was created under a stretch tent. Of course Gilbert the Grouse made an appearance. Gilbert’s dancing and interactions added an element of entertainment and excitement which was not seen before. This is not the first time YOURgb has collaborated with Famous Grouse on a brand activation and we love working with a brand that has such a strong presence in sporting and charity events!

Meet the newbies, CLASS OF SUMMER 2022
YOURGB has expanded its team with four senior new hires from May into June!
Katy Fowler is YOURGB’s first Senior Logistics Manager. With vast experience in large-scale logistics, Fowler has overseen operations and production for T in the Park, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, the European Championships at Glasgow Green, and the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage. Previously, as Head of Production at UK Live Ltd, she delivered 17 festivals across the UK over a 15-week period for audiences of 10,000 to 20,000.
Maya Vuckovic joins the team as our new Senior Event Producer with a wealth of experience in production, online events, and live events. As part of her role, she will be spearheading a game-changing new online event platform for YOURGB. Prior to joining, Vuckovic held the position of Event Producer & Head of Experience and Engagement with one of the UK’s biggest production companies, Metro Production Group.
Hollie Jaques comes onboard as Senior Content & Events Producer bringing with her expertise in managing international events within the health, finance, tech, arts, and charity sectors. Skilled in online events, content creation and design, Jaques has worked on event partnerships with high-profile organisations including The Canadian Government, The World Bank, Starbucks, Amazon, and Harvard University. Hollie has already got stuck in on several projects and it’s clear to the team that her ambition and creativity are a big hit with clients!
SHE’S BACK AND IT FEELS SO GOOD
Hilary Brodie returns to YOURGB as its Culture, Talent and Operations Manager bringing with her senior-level experience in coaching, creativity, people management and interpersonal skills. Brodie was previously with lululemon specialising in team development. Hilary is our rock and is very in tune with the team’s training needs… oh and she’s known for bringing us all in a Flake 99 on a hot day in the office! What is not to love?!
